The Evoluo, Vertuo, and VertuoPlus have the same brew sizes and coffee drink choices. Each coffee machine can brew different sizes of cups using centrifusion technology.

Machine Size
The most important difference between the Evoluo and the Vertuo or VertuoPlus is the size. The Evoluo is larger and heavier than the Vertuo models. The Evoluo is lighter than the VertuoPlus and has a larger water reservoir. It can be moved behind, to the side, or at a 45-degree angle. The VertuoPlus might be better if you have less counter space than the Evoluo.

Speed
Although the time it takes to heat each machine varies, every second matters if you’re always in a hurry in the morning. The Vertuo machine is the fastest. It heats up in 15 seconds. Maintenance and Care
My Nespresso machine requires very little maintenance. I only do it once a week, and that is to refill the water reservoir and empty the capsule container. Evoluo has this advantage. Evoluo’s water tank has a 35% larger capacity than the Vertuo or the standard VertuoPlus. The Evoluo used capsule container measures 30% larger than that of the Vertuo, and 70% larger than that of the VertuoPlus. This means that you will need to empty it less often.

Each model will need more intensive cleaning (called descaling), every three months. This will eliminate mineral buildup that could affect machine performance. Each model comes with an warning light to let you know when it’s time to descale.
Nespresso Evoluo vs VertuoPlus Deluxe
You may be surprised to learn that VertuoPlus has two versions when you shop for Vertuoline machines. There is also the Nespresso VertuoPlus Premium. How does the Evoluo compare to the VertuoPlus Deluxe The VertuoPlus has a larger water reservoir and a quicker heat up time. The Evoluo however has slightly more heating power.
