If the Ristretto and Lungo buttons are flashing, you’ll need to reinstall the filter (if installed) located in the water tank. If the hot water button is flashing, it indicates that the machine is overheating. You need to turn it off and let it cool down for about 20 minutes. The descaling alert first appears when the machine is turned on and then repeats every hour. Please refrain from using vinegar as it may damage the internal parts of the machine.
